The arrests of hundreds of protesters in New York brought attention to thousands more to take to the streets and fight for the cause of Occupy Wall Street. Now, more and more people are getting arrested for speaking out against the oppressive force that holds them down. The force is now pressing even harder. The very vision of equality is crumbling and is starting to look like an ideal. But many think that it is actually just across a line, and the only way to reach it is to either break through to the government or break the government. Peaceful protests have clearly not been working. I am afraid that the protests around the nation will soon become violent. If that becomes the case, the people are awoken and will fight alongside there comrades. The government is quickly becoming our enemy, there is no denying that.
Don’t be afraid of violence. It is only a matter of time, it is better to be prepared.
